When I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror or window, I’m often surprised by my own reflection.
The strong link between my thoughts, emotions, and expressions leaves almost nothing hidden from others. I suppose the transparency balances my introverted tendencies.
Rather than trying to conceal my expressions, I’ve embraced the full spectrum of emotions I feel and the truth my face reveals.
This is who I am – a microcosm of the world around me. And there’s no need to hide that. After all, do we not hold within ourselves the reflection of our surroundings?
So, be discerning when it comes to your surroundings. And be selective in the experiences and emotions you choose for yourself, as they are reflective of who you are.
